State of the art free finnish voice to txt 2024?
Hello,
I am looking for finnish voice recognition and stumbled on this model;
However, it seems that I need to do a lot of tweaking before I get it to work in my environment.
I noticed that the model has not gotten updates very recently; before I dive to the configuring rabbithole, is this the best currently available free finnish voice to text model? Also, if there are any more specific information about the system requirements, they would be appreciated..

, I recommend you to check our Finnish-NLP organization profile for better and newer Finnish speech-to-text models. For example, a couple different sized Whisper models fine-tuned for Finnish:
